Zone Dessert

Ok, so our gym decided to do a 6 week challenge on loss of body fat percentage. We are currently 2 weeks in and after today's weigh-in/measurements, I was feeling a bit discouraged. Craving sweets, carbs or anything that was high in anything I am not supposed to have, I headed home. "I can't give in," I told myself as I made a HUGE spinach salad & put my 4.5oz of baked halibut with only lemon juice & onions on it onto my plate.
As I ate, I began to dream of all the wonderful goodness I could make with just what I have in my cupboard (none of it being Zone friendly)! Then it hit me... I really think it is quite the ephiany... a dessert shake using protein powder.
1/4 cup skim milk
1/2 cup water
3 ice cubes
2 frozen strawberries
1/4 scoop chocolate protein powder (my powder has 25g per scoop)
Put in blender and WOW!! I mean, it is no chocolate chip cookie (or 5), but it is sweet, it tastes like a milk shake & it has chocolate in it!
For now, crisis has been averted. I feel satisfied & ready for a nice night's sleep.
